Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook laptop coming this week

If you didn’t realize it before you can now see the heated competition in the laptops market. This is especially true between Asus and Acer. It certainly seems that Acer beat Asus to the ultrabook punch. Acer just released details, release date, price and product photos of their Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook. Asus is to announce their ultrabook model at a press release this week. So Acer now will be the first ultrabook to hit the streets in North America. Let’s take a closer look.

Intel really pushed uniformity for these ultrabook class laptops. In other words from company to company you may not see a lot of differences. Clones perhaps of one another. This first ultrabook laptop from Acer is their cheapest model and starts at a price of $899. Acer has announced also that models with Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i3 will be coming soon. In addition they will have models with different sized storage. We think that means there could be an even cheaper Acer S Series laptop in the works especially if they put in a Core i3 processor.
