Update: We do have news about 2012 laptops! A story today on Digitimes suggests that Intel has decided to delay its release of the Ivy Bridge processor from a 2011 release to a March 2012 release.
A few factors in play here including the flawed release of the current Intel processor which put things behind in the 2011 laptops. So the 2012 laptops have to wait until mid year for the upgrade. That means the best laptops 2012 will likely not be arriving until mid 2012. Not great news. Also the tablet push has resulted in allowing more time for the current generation Intel processors to sell.
Expect our best laptops 2012 website to officially launch in mid to late 2011. We love laptops and want to share our passion with you. It’s sometimes hard to get the trusted word on the best laptops of 2012. We are here to help. We also are avid gamers so you can trust our findings on the best gaming laptop 2012 models.
In 2011, the laptops brought greater battery life and greater power. The laptops of 2012 will further the battery life expectations from all of us. Less weight, more power, and more portability should be prominant in 2012 laptops. CES 2012 in January will be a great indicator of what’s in store for 2012 laptops. All the top laptop manufacturers such as Toshiba, Dell, HP, Samsung, Acer and others will show the latest and greatest technology and laptops. In 2011, there was a decrease in laptops demand as the rise of the tablet pc really took off. Has the trend decreased? Not yet. There will always be a demand for laptops but it’s hard to say how much impact the tablet market will have on the laptop market growth.
We are not yet officially launched, but be assured we’re thinking about 2012 laptops already. It’s the build up to Holiday 2011 when the 2012 laptops start to leak out on the web.
